Dnyanyog Children’s Retreat

A Holistic Learning Experience for Children (Ages 8–15 Years)

At our shibir, education goes beyond books. It is a meaningful journey that nurtures the complete development of a child’s mind, body and thinking.

Children engage with nature directly—they play in the soil, walk amidst greenery, touch trees, listen to the songs of birds and feel the gentle breeze. Living close to nature helps them understand themselves, experience inner calm through quiet breathing and pranayama and develop mental stability.

Games and activities are carefully designed to teach teamwork, cooperation and healthy social interaction. Drawing and coloring allow children to freely express their thoughts, emotions and creativity. They also learn the thoughtful and responsible use of social media.

Food is viewed not just as nourishment, but as Prasad, accepted with gratitude and mindfulness. Outdoor activities cultivate leadership, teamwork and self-reliance, emphasizing participation over winning or losing.

Through sky observation and stargazing, children gain a true understanding of stars, constellations and planets, along with the science behind their movements. This nurtures curiosity, observation skills, imagination and a scientific outlook, reducing blind beliefs and fostering a genuine interest in astronomy.

Short trekking sessions on nearby hills deepen children’s connection with nature and teach them to appreciate the love and values of their parents. They develop awareness to avoid addictions and cultivate a positive approach to life. Most importantly, children experience a sense of divinity in the loving presence of Maulijee.

This shibir is not just schooling—it is a caring, joyful and value-based environment where children learn how to live meaningfully. Every moment is filled with learning, discovery and experience.
